Scrum Master

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in managing Scrum teams and collaborating closely with Project Owners. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, strong communication skills, and proven expertise in leading multiple Scrum teams to successful project delivery.

 

Job Duties & Requirements (included but not limited to the following):

  • Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Act as a Scrum Master and occasionally as a Project Owner, managing backlogs and prioritizing deliverables based on project goals.
  • Maintain and manage the Scrum board efficiently to ensure transparency and progress tracking.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (minimum of 6 members per team) to drive sprint success and remove blockers.
  • Facilitate effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and management.
  • Track sprint progress, identify risks, and proactively drive continuous improvement.
  • Coach team members on Agile best practices and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Conduct daily status calls to ensure alignment on goals, progress, and challenges.
  • Collaborate with Project Owners and technical leads to refine requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.

 

Education:

Preferred undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems or related field.

 

Experience:

  • Atleast 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master with exposure to project ownership responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum ceremonies.
  • Proven experience managing multiple Scrum teams with at least 6 members per team.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and run daily Scrum meetings and drive sprint deliverables.
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum frameworks, backlog management, and sprint tracking.

 

Technical Knowledge (Added Advantage):

  • Experience working with Azure DevOps Boards or similar Agile project management tools.
  • Background in the Manufacturing domain.
  • Basic understanding of .NET or React UI technologies to effectively communicate with development teams.
