ePED Touch Bar and Terminal combine all key control and display functions into a unified design concept. What used to require up to four separate modules – key switch, emergency button, illuminated pictogram and time delay display – is now seamlessly integrated.

The illuminated LED frame shows the door status, while the high-contrast display provides detailed real-time information: door configuration, firmware version, maintenance status and more. Common actions such as short-time release, manual unlocking and reset can be performed directly on the terminal – making operation more efficient and intuitive than ever before.

ePED is your go-to solution for projects requiring certified escape door technology: It meets the demands of both EN 13637:2015 and the German EltVTR guideline for electrically controlled escape doors – creating legal clarity and providing certified protection against misuse and unauthorised access.

The integrated time delay function* can be configured locally or centrally, supporting advanced escape route concepts. Thus, ePED supports complex building safety concepts and zoning plans. In the event of tampering, an alarm is automatically triggered.
