ASSA ABLOY, the leading supplier of door-opening solutions, has launched a new floor spring, expanding its door closer portfolio. Featuring a new German spindle design, the DC450 supports the brand's ambition to create a simplified and unified user experience for its existing and future floor springs alike.
The all-new DC450 offers a weight capacity of up to 120kg and a maximum opening angle of 130°, it is available in both non-hold and hold-open options. At only 40mm thick, the DC450 is distinguished by its flat design.
This new range of floor springs are fitted with a German spindle design, ideal for use with glass patch fittings. The new spindle design can easily retrofit into doors that have an existing accessory kit.
The DC450 features a highly effective Cam-Action® mechanism, offering exceptional control over the motion of the door. By reducing the force required to open the door, Cam-Motion® technology significantly improves door opening comfort for children, the elderly, and the less abled. The quality, endurance, and performance of the DC450 floor spring and other models in the range make them ideal for use in most environments where ease of opening requirements is essential.
