Resstende is a leading Italian sun protection manufacturer, specializing in roller-shutter systems.  Founded in 1975, it has over 60 employees and an annual turnover of €12.4m. With growing export success, Resstende wanted a new headquarters that could meet current needs and accommodate future strategic developments.

Covering 6,000 sq.m over four floors, the new HQ incorporates large workspaces, training rooms, showrooms, hospitality areas and common zones designed to foster collaboration. Resstende sought an access control solution in keeping with the needs and ethos of this contemporary workplace.

Solution

ASSA ABLOY’s Incedo platform-based access control system met Resstende’s needs. “We built a valuable, attractive location where we could cultivate innovation,” says Gasparini. “Incedo is convenient to use and streamlines access management, which saves us time and costs.”

Access to the building is secured and monitored by ASSA ABLOY readers. Incedo controllers and modules connect all hardware to the flexible software; everything works seamlessly and is managed from a single Incedo interface, saving admin time. For maximum convenience, authorized users enter doors via code, tag or smartphone.

Incedo simplifies access management for Resstende. It’s easy to operate from a web interface, on any device: It does not require a dedicated admin computer. Security staff quickly create groups with customized access for specific doors. Permissions can also be limited by time, which is perfect for meeting room bookings and facilitating role-specific access for different people. A Seos^® backbone provides the highest level of credential security.
