This usually required direct interaction with each device, commonly via laptop or USB dongle. Now, there is a time-saving and convenient solution: the Aperio Installer.

Plan at your desk, then take your phone to the door. With the new Aperio Installer, 2 easy steps is all it takes to complete fitting faster and without hassle:

Step 1. Plan: Using Aperio's web-based portal, site leads can now plan the whole installation in advance, without being at the premises.

Set-up the installation off-site, logging on securely to a the web-based Aperio Installer portal. Re-create your site structure in the portal, assigning hubs and locks to each area, and easily prepare configurations for each device. Once the planning is finished, installers will find the ready-to-go configurations in their mobile app.

Step 2. Configure: Installers on site access all configurations with their phone via the Aperio Installer app and transfer by presenting their phone to the lock. This all-in-one tool simplifies the initialization legwork

To configure your Aperio device, you just need to be near or tap a device with your phone. The Initialization and pairing of hubs with the lock is done automatically. For the configuration phase, a smartphone (Android, iOS soon to come) equipped with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology is all that’s required. Aperio Installer is designed to accommodate situations where there is no internet connection at the installation site. Installers can download the necessary configuration data to their mobile devices before arriving at the location, and then synchronize the data once they regain internet access after completing the installation.
