The Logistic Manager will be responsible to coordinate between Production and Commercial demand at the maximum efficiency of cost and service, with the objective and vision of improve the organization response to demand, always in compliance with Safety and Environmental rules.

Guarantees the best planning to ensure the contractual deadline at the best cost by determining the orientations and adaptation of the allocated resources and defining the stock management strategy in order to ensure the service levels.

Reporting to the Site Operations Director, leads the logistics team by delegating as needed.

 

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Purpose and implement together with H&S manager, actions to aimed and improve safety within logistics activities.
  • Plans or participate in production planning together with Production Managers the master production plans (MPPs).
  • Define and monitor the operational indicators necessary to improve transport costs and structural costs as well as overall performance.
  • Define and monitor the operational indicators necessary to improve customer service and supplier’s performance.
  • Define and implement together with Lean manager, the progress plans necessary to improve costs, lead time, stock management, customer service and supplier performance.
  • Study and proposes investments that will improve logistics performance in the short, medium and long term.
  • Pilots and participates in projects related to ERP.
  • Supervise, lead and develop logistics teams.
  • Negotiates with suppliers and customers logistics operating protocols.
  • Guarantees the achievement of stock objectives, MTPT, Net Value, Gross value, aging, ratio aging.
  • Manage and propose the end-of-life products.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Academy requirement

  • Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering with specialization in logistics

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience

Languages:

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Personal Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Decision making attitude.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Good sensitivity and concern for the sustainability issues
  • Ability to work as a team
