The lock’s electronics are located inside the door and are invisible from both the inside and the outside.

Mechanical locking and unlocking with a key is possible. A Yale Fingerprint Keypad can be added for code and fingerprint access. Access can be granted to trusted individuals through the Yale Home smartphone app.

The Yale Durus Basic package includes: module (with 4×AA batteries installed), SP R3 lock case, drill protection plate, lock cable, external handle adapter for emergency power supply (for USB-C cable), screws.

To operate the Yale Durus smart lock, the following lock components must also be purchased separately (cover plates/finishes available in polished chrome, satin chrome, polished brass, satin brass, and black):

LP713 strike plate. 3211 fitting set (13 mm rings, sleeves, internal cylinder with thumb turn, 60 mm cylinder screws). Scandinavian or Finnish-style door handles.
