A secure solution for when privacy is required, with an easy exit. Thumbturn cylinders securely lock doors and provide a fast exit path.

The thumbturn is able to lock and unlock the cylinder. Alternatively, classroom functionality is available. Whereby the thumbturn can only unlock the cylinder (either turning clockwise or anti-clockwise) and cannot override a key being turned. Ensuring that the thumbturn cannot be used to lock users out. Particularly relevant for applications with children, such as in schools.

Additionally, clutch release functionality is available, whereby a key inserted will override the thumbturn if being held closed. A health and safety feature, ensuring that a user is not able to barracade themselves within a room. Particularly relevant for certain applications such healthcare.
