On 502A-B, the bolts remain retracted until automatically released on the closing of the door. The push bar design can be easily cut to size to suit different door widths. Key retention model available (Suffix order code with “RK” for key retention). Helps meet BS 8300 requirements for barrier-free access. Excellent for high-traffic areas like staff or goods-in entrances to a factory or industrial environment. The unit is operated by pushing the lever down retracting the internal bolts/latches, and releasing the lever returns the internal bolts/latches to the rest position. Certified as an approved accessory to the 500 series as part of EN 1125 and EN 179. Indicate the required finish when ordering (plated finishes are not recommended for external use). Additional fixings for thicker doors are available on request.

The unit is operated by rotating the knob to retract the internal bolts/latches, releasing the knob returns the internal bolts/latches to the rest position. Available with or without a Euro cylinder. Key retention options available. Locking the cylinder prevents access into the building but will not prevent escape from the building. Certified as an approved accessory to the 500 series as part of EN 1125 and EN 179.
