ASSA ABLOY at SicherheitsExpo: Innovative access solutions in focus
| SicherheitsExpo 2026, taking place on July 1 and 2 at the MOC – Event Center Messe München, is regarded as a key trade fair for modern security technology. It showcases innovative solutions for companies, public institutions and critical infrastructures – from access control and video surveillance to IT security. In addition to protection against internal and external threats, the focus is also on economically efficient security solutions and new technologies. ASSA ABLOY, one of the leading providers of access solutions, will be on site and will present current product innovations for secure, flexible and integrated building security at its booth C12 in Hall 1. CLIQ® Updater – secure communication without network cables The new CLIQ® Updater is a convenient solution for updating key data easily and securely. Communication between the updater and the wall-mounted programming device takes place via an RS-485 connection – with no network cable required outdoors. This makes it particularly easy to install and ideally suited for retrofits or decentralized applications. In combination with a second-generation CLIQ® wall-mounted programming device, the unit can also be operated conveniently over distances of up to 200 meters. SCALA access control with Uhlmann & Zacher integration SCALA net enables networked access control with comprehensive functions such as time scheduling, zone monitoring and elevator integration. Thanks to its modular licensing model, the system can be flexibly adapted to growing requirements and supports common RFID technologies as well as the open OSS Standard Offline. New is the integration of offline components from Uhlmann & Zacher’s Clex public brand, which expands the system with wireless, battery-powered solutions. These are particularly suitable for retrofitting existing buildings and enable additional applications for doors, furniture and other sensitive areas. Central administration continues to be handled via SCALA net, allowing the components to be integrated seamlessly into existing access structures. DR 100 card reader brings Aperio® technology to additional access points With the new Aperio® DR100, ASSA ABLOY is expanding its portfolio of digital access solutions with a card reader featuring integrated relays for demanding door and access situations, such as main entrances, turnstiles, loading zones, roof access points or gate controls. The new solution provides additional flexibility for retrofitting, modernization and system expansion in these high-traffic and security-critical openings. Both online and offline scenarios are supported, including RS485 hubs, IP hubs and Wiegand interfaces. Proven wireless 2.4 GHz Aperio® technology ensures reliable communication. Escape route technology: 925 control panel with touch display The innovative effeff 925 control panel with touch display is a particularly user-friendly solution for complex building structures. It clearly displays all door statuses and enables intuitive control of up to 24 escape doors or group functions – conveniently, centrally and securely. Depending on requirements, 8, 15 or 24 key fields can be configured flexibly so that security managers always maintain the right overview in different building areas. In addition to its clearly structured display, the system also increases operational safety: control can be password-protected or alternatively enabled via a separate key-operated switch that can be integrated into existing locking systems. |
