Feuertrutz 2026

Albstadt, May 2026 – When it comes to preventive fire protection, doors play a key role: they must keep escape routes clear, secure fire and smoke compartments, prevent unauthorised access and, at the same time, function as conveniently as possible in everyday use. ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH will demonstrate how these requirements can be intelligently combined at FeuerTRUTZ 2026 on 24 and 25 June in Nuremberg. In Hall 4A, Stand 419, the company will present a broad range of modern door solutions – from mechanical and electromechanical locking systems and door closers to networked access control system

The focus of the trade fair presentation will be on solutions that combine security, fire protection, accessibility and ease of use. These include the “Solution Locks” lock range with innovative toggle latch technology, free-swing door closers for fire and smoke protection doors, high-performance components for escape and rescue routes, and electronic locking and access control systems such as CLIQ and Aperio.

When tightly sealing doors remain easy to operate

Modern doors in commercial buildings must close tightly, provide burglary protection and remain easy to operate. This is exactly where the “Solution Locks” range comes in. The revised full mortise lock portfolio extends from basic solutions to panic and self-locking security locks and mechatronic high-security locks. The integrated toggle latch compensates for preload forces on the door leaf of up to 1 kN. This means that handles and cylinders can still be operated without increased force, even on doors with strong sealing pressure.

Fire protection that feels effortless in everyday use

Convenience in use is also a key focus for fire and smoke protection doors. ASSA ABLOY free-swing door closers allow doors to be moved with virtually no resistance once activated. In everyday use, they can be passed through comfortably; in the event of a fire or power failure, they close reliably and automatically. This makes them particularly attractive for public buildings, healthcare and care facilities, schools and other heavily frequented areas.

Securely locked – freely accessible in an emergency

Another focus area is escape and rescue routes. Here, doors must prevent unauthorised access but be released quickly in the event of danger. The 352M escape door locking system combines high security reserves with quiet closing and ease of operation. With a preload capacity of up to 5 kN, this escape door locking system, approved in accordance with EltVTR and EN 13637, is currently the most powerful electric strike in ASSA ABLOY’s portfolio. However, this does not conflict with ease of use: if no power is applied to the closed bolt, the prism-shaped bolt allows the door to be opened with only slight pressure.

The security door closer also shows how escape route technology can be integrated into existing door situations. In this solution, the escape route locking system is integrated into the door closer, so no separate locking device on the door leaf is required. Because existing DIN drill holes can be used and the door leaf does not need to be wired, the security door closer is also suitable for retrofitting fire protection doors.

Powerful additional locking for demanding doors

With the 842-SA1 electric bolt, ASSA ABLOY is presenting a robust electromechanical additional locking solution for swing and double-action doors. The solution offers a break-in resistance of 10 kN, unlocks reliably under preload of up to 1 kN and locks dependably even under opposing pressure of up to 200 newtons. An LED display provides information on the locking status and supports fault diagnosis. The operating mode, fail-safe/fail-secure, can be switched via a DIP switch. Thanks to unchanged external dimensions, replacing the predecessor model is often straightforward; protection class IP53 also allows use in entrance areas and external door applications.

Manage access flexibly – from the main entrance to the technical room

In addition to fire protection and escape route technology, modern solutions for locking systems and access control are also coming into focus. Systems such as CLIQ and Aperio make it possible to manage authorisations flexibly and transparently. eCLIQ combines mechanical robustness with digital controllability and is suitable for many areas – from site access and technical installations to cabinets. CLIQ cylinders operate without cables or batteries; power is supplied by the battery in the key. Access rights can be limited by time and location, managed centrally and withdrawn quickly if a key is lost.

Aperio complements access control systems with wireless or offline-capable door components. Battery-powered cylinders, handles, fittings and locks make it possible to integrate additional doors without complex cabling – from the main entrance to server rooms and server cabinets. In combination with SCALA net, Aperio components are administered centrally, either online via wireless communication or offline via Data on Card.
