925 control panel now with convenient touch display

Escape door control systems must function reliably and enable people in a building to escape safely in both emergency and panic situations. In view of large building systems and their high number of escape doors, centralised control panels offer high added value. They ensure that all statuses of the connected escape doors are brought together at a central point and bundle the control of functionalities in a building system. The new effeff control panel 925 with touch display allows security mangers to conveniently display door statuses and intuitively control up to 24 escape doors or group functions. 

With the innovative control panel, 8, 15 or 24 buttons on a control panel can be configured easily, intuitively and flexibly via the central control unit (view modes: 4x2, 5x3 or 6x4 doors). In addition to the compact and clear display of the respective door situation, the password-protected control of the doors, which effectively prevents unauthorised operation, also offers a high level of user convenience. Alternatively, the user interface can be released or blocked via a separate key switch, the cylinder of which can be integrated into the existing master key system. The graphic display of alarm messages is additionally supported by the integrated buzzer with an acoustic signal.

Technical requirements for use

The new integrated touch display can be used in combination with the effeff TSB controller 970-TSBC-30. Several control panels can also be connected to one TS BUS to control more than 24 doors. In this case, the individual doors are assigned individually to one or more control panels. Thanks to the TS BUS interface, it is also possible to network other effeff escape door technology products. 

Upgrade for existing systems

The innovative 925-Touch control panel can also be used in existing systems. The technical requirements already mentioned are also a prerequisite for retrofitting an existing system. The firmware of a TS BUS controller 970-TSBC-30 can then be updated via the internal update function . Combined operation of existing 925 control panels and the new 925-Touch on a TS BUS is also possible.

All known effeff escape door control units with TS BUS connection can be integrated and combined in the 925 Touch control panel. The control panel can be optionally extended with a separately available module with emergency button and key switch.
