With 8,700 employees, Wiener Linien is one of the biggest infrastructure companies in Austria and a subsidiary of Wiener Stadtwerke GmbH. The company builds and runs the subway, bus and tram network in the city and ensures that 2.6 million passengers reach their destination quickly, safely and comfortably every day.Thus imposing special requirements for a locking system. Wiener Linien requires individual and flexible access authorisations for employees and external companies. Locking cylinders must also be resistant to the special installation conditions to which they are exposed. There should also only be one master key system for the entire company – a variety of different locking solutions were previously in use.
