The property developer DEMOS Wohnbau has been one of the leading providers of new residential properties on the Munich property market for more than five decades. Whether an owner-occupied apartment, a terraced house, a semi-detached house, or a detached single-family house – contemporary architecture and upmarket fittings are the hallmarks of every DEMOS building project. The PRISMA PASING residential project is located in the immediate vicinity of Nymphenburg Palace Park and offers a mix of proximity to the city and to natural surroundings. Whether compact apartments, spacious family apartments, or exclusive maisonette rooftop apartments – PRISMA PASING offers different types of living space from approx. 29 m2 to approx. 105 m2.
DEMOS’ security requirements were clearly formulated: The doors should be secured with mechanical locking cylinders, which are structured in a hierarchically organised system. The master key system should regulate all access authorisations with locking hierarchies according to individual requirements – i.e. precisely for individual persons.
Solution:
The company opted for an IKON brand RW6 mechanical locking system to equip its entrance and apartment doors. This reversible key system from ASSA ABLOY is a convenient solution. Whether for smaller or larger master key systems - whenever security, reliability and simple operation are important in a master key system, the RW6 scores with its modern mechanics. ASSA ABLOY uses sturdy cylinders for the system, which are opened and closed using reversible keys made of solid nickel silver. Plus, with the choice of double, half and knob cylinders, every door function in a building can be realised.
With this general master key system, access authorisations are also structured hierarchically according to clear specifications and requirements – in accordance with the requirements of DEMOS Wohnbau GmbH. The high-quality IKON locking cylinders also offer a high level of burglary protection with respect to manual opening techniques and are certified in accordance with the relevant standards.
