Challenge:
The Hagedorn Group is Germany’s most efficient all-round service provider in the fields of demolition, disposal, civil engineering and land revitalisation. The Group’s process chain also includes the remediation of contaminated sites, recycling, heavy-duty logistics and crane services. The family business is one of the top 5 largest and most successful demolition companies in the world. In addition to its headquarters in Gütersloh, Hagedorn now operates throughout Germany with additional locations.
The access control previously used was too inflexible for Hagedorn’s increased requirements: In addition to entrance and interior doors, other objects at different locations had to be secured with an access solution. In order to assign authorisations as centrally and as simply as possible, uniform software should be used for manage the system.
Solution:
Hagedorn chose a SCALA net access control system from effeff. The system can be expanded almost as much as required and adapts continuously. Consisting of wireless locking cylinders and electronic keys, the eCLIQ locking system has also been selected for particular areas and properties. The wide range of cylinder types not only allows doors, but also smaller objects such as lockers, padlocks or switchable locks, such as those in machines and vehicles, to be integrated into the system. The use of both systems on certain doors has another advantage: it guarantees access in the event of a power failure.
With the interface between the CLIQ® Web-Manager management software and SCALA net, Hagedorn can now flexibly manage keys and ID cards in a single interface and assign or delete authorisations. The system can be individually expanded with cylinders or access control components, depending on requirements
