Strikes in smoke control and fire doors

Smoke control doors and fire doors are subject to particularly high demands. These special doors are used in areas designed to protect human lives. At the same time, the security of property must be taken into account.

The most important requirements:

  • Strikes must be made of materials with a melting point not lower than 1000 ° C
  • Only fail-locked types are allowed
  • Strikes must not be operated in permanent unlocking mode
  • Mechanical unlocking or locking function are not permitted
