Project Management Office Manager
The Opportunity
ASSA ABLOY is a global leader in access solutions, with trusted brands across Australia and beyond.
We’re looking for a PMO Manager to lead and grow our Project Management Office within Product Development. This is a key role where you’ll bring structure, consistency and visibility across a portfolio of projects, while building the capability of the PMO function.
If you enjoy bringing clarity to complex environments, influencing across teams, and driving delivery outcomes, this role offers both impact and ownership.
The Role
As PMO Manager, you’ll lead project governance, standards and reporting, while supporting end-to-end delivery across product development.
You will:
- Oversee project delivery to ensure timelines, scope and budgets are met
- Establish consistent PMO frameworks, tools and ways of working
- Lead portfolio reporting, risk tracking and stakeholder updates
- Coordinate resource planning and capacity across projects
- Support prioritisation and roadmap planning at portfolio level
- Mentor and develop project leaders and build a high-performing PMO team
- Work closely with engineering teams on product development programs
What You Bring
- Experience leading or working within a PMO environment
- Background delivering complex, cross-functional projects
- Strong understanding of project governance, reporting and planning
- Experience with resource planning and portfolio coordination
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability
- Exposure to product development environments (engineering or manufacturing preferred)
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering or similar (or equivalent experience)
