ASSA ABLOY provides a wide range of Water Resistant, AirTight and Acoustic Metal Doors available witha variety of configuration and vision panel options, testedaccording to American Standards (UL) & British Standards(BS) suitable for locations such as staircase, corridor,service rooms or entrances.

Our full range of insulated doors with up to 4 hours fire rating is designed to suit power substations, cold stores, heat transfers applications and other similar locations.

Gasketing and thresholds are used to control the flow of air,smoke, heat or cold, water, sound or other environmentalfactors through the door opening. The location or intendeduse of the door assembly, the environment to which it isexposed, and the performance expected will dictate theselection of gasketing and threshold products. The varietyof materials, their composition, profiles, and performanceare virtually limitless. These are described in ANSI/BHMAA156.21 or A156.22. Generally, gasket materials are spongeneoprene, rubber, vinyl, brushes, or magnets. Retainers aregenerally steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, vinyl, or othernon-ferrous materials. Information in catalogs published byBHMA members aid in the selection of perimeter sealing“systems” to meet the applicable performance criteria of thedoor assembly.

MATERIAL:

The doors are made of galvanized steel sheets or stainlesssteel sheets grade 304 (also available SS grade 316 onspecial customer request). Door leaves are filled withstructural honeycomb or mineral wool with vertical stiffenerof high density depending on the type of the door.
