ASSA ABLOY ranked first for the 21st consecutive year in the 2026 K-BPI Award
Gateman, ASSA ABLOY’s flagship smart door lock brand, has once again reaffirmed its leadership in the Korean market by ranking first for the 21st consecutive year in the smart door lock category of the 2026 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI).
According to the results of the 28th K-BPI survey in2026 released by Korea Management Consulting (KMAC), Gateman achieved a total score of 666.1 points, maintaining a substantial lead of nearly 300 points over the second-ranked brand (366.7 points) and the third-ranked brand (331.1 points).
This result reflects an increase of more than 50 points compared to the previous year, indicating that Gateman continues to strengthen its brand influence and customer trust despite operating in a mature and highly competitive market.
The K-BPI is one of Korea’s most authoritative brand evaluation indices, calculated on a 1,000-point scale based on four key dimensions, top-of-mind awareness (40%), unaided awareness (20%), aided awareness (10%), and brand loyalty (30%).
In this year’s assessment, Gateman recorded the highest scores across all brand awareness indicators. It also achieved leading results in the brand loyalty category, which includes brand image, purchase intention, and brand preference. These outcomes demonstrate that Gateman’s long-established brand credibility continues to translate into sustained customer confidence and purchasing intent.
