ABLOY Swing Door Automation

The European EN16005 standard defines maintenance and safety requirements for power-operated and automated pedestrian doorsets. The new regulations obilgate real estate owners to ensure that all doors covered by the standard are serviced appropriately, and that end user safety is assured by necessary safety measures. 

If the user group of a door environment does not require the use of safety sensors, personal safety can be ensured by limiting the door's kinetic energy. In the EN16005 standard, this is referred to as Low Energy installation.
