Our case studies — all free to download — help you understand the ways SMARTair works to secure premises and thousands of doors all over the world.

STAY by Kronos

STAY by Kronos chose a SMARTair wireless digital access solution. Building managers now quickly cancel any lost credentials and issue new ones — remotely if necessary — which reduces operating costs, maintains building security, and provides the flexibility they need. Secure, battery-powered i-max Wireless Escutcheons lock 121 apartments and shared amenities (gym, play area etc.) across two buildings. Main door entrances are unlocked via SMARTair Wall Readers.

Residents access with a smart card, keyring or the SMARTair Openow app, which stores mobile keys on their personal smartphone.

Flexible Coworking Spaces - ULAB Case Study

Coworking, convenience and flexibility go hand-in-hand. That’s why Alicante’s Technology Coworking Centre, ULAB, chose to install SMARTair as their access control solution. Much more than simply an intelligent access control system, SMARTair combines cutting edge technology with security to create an easy to use, flexible experience for users, visitors and ULAB staff alike.

Access cards, connected mobile devices and remote access management software ensure users have access to all the areas they need without the need for mechanical keys or relying on one person to grant access permissions.

Modern security to a school full of heritage

Founded in the 16th Century, Colegio Diocesano in Santo Domingo is home to a modern school with over 2000 staff and students, parents and visitors accessing the premises on a daily basis. With so many people accessing the site regularly it was vital to find a secure access control solution that could be easily installed even into the most traditional of the school’s 300+ doors without disrupting lessons.

The system is easy to manage using the SMARTair TS1000 software - which integrates into the school’s existing management software. This means Colegio Diocesano’s facility managers are able to keep track of who is accessing which door in real-time, ensuring staff and student safety at all times.
