In total, we have about 1000 sites including 155 R&D sites and 179 production facilities. Other sites consist of distribution centres and offices. ASSA ABLOY has operations in more than 70 countries. Our Graduate Program
Rotation 1 (Feb - Jul)
Launch your career – Immersive 6-month rotation
During the initial 6-month period of your rotation, you will be immersed in a field relevant to your study within the business. You will be assigned a project aimed at delivering impactful results, enabling you to contribute to the team and gain real-life industry experience. Throughout this process, you will have the opportunity to network and collaborate closely with our team members and senior leaders.
Rotation 2 (Aug - Jan)
Exploring new horizons – Diversifying your business experience
Rotation 2 will offer you the chance to delve into a different facet of the business. This diverse exposure ensures that your comprehension and familiarity with the business landscape will be extensive, allowing you to gain insights into every aspect the business has to offer. “The more diverse experience the better leader you will be”.
Rotation 3 (Feb - July)
Personalise your path – Aligning roles to your career goals
In rotation 3, you will work in a role that complements or aligns closely with your career aspirations. We will assess your preferences, strengths, and skills to determine where you best fit within the business. You will be assigned either a project or tasked with learning the daily responsibilities of the role you are interested in pursuing further.
Rotation 4 (Aug - Dec)
Launch your career – Embarking on your career – Shaping your career
Rotation 4 holds paramount significance in shaping the trajectory of your future career with ASSA ABLOY. During this phase, we will strategically position you in a role that not only aligns with your career aspirations but also serves as a stepping stone towards achieving your long-term goals within the company. "My time as a graduate at ASSA ABLOY has exposed me to many areas of the business, providing a range of knowledge and experience in departments I was unfamiliar with. The exposure to the different parts of the business has provided an insight into the nature and operations of a large-scale production site.
During my time in R&D, I was tasked with the redesign of one of our industrial electric locks. It was an experience that was both challenging and rewarding. I was given the independence to take the project in the direction that I preferred, but the approachable nature of the team around me meant that I was given guidance when I came across any barriers. This process, as well as collaborating with all sections of the R&D team, helped to develop some of my technical engineering skills. It is amazing to think that improvements I made to the product could potentially be pushed towards production.
I chose ASSA ABLOY as it puts a large emphasis on evolution through its employees. Throughout the graduate program, there has been a large emphasis on leadership skills and personal development. I also like the rotation structure as it allows for the opportunity to explore the operations of departments out of my field."

During my time within the Supply Chain department, I was responsible for the design and development of a comprehensive database of our complete ‘end-to-end’ supply chain costs, relative to every product sold by ASSA ABLOY to its customers. It was a satisfying experience to be able to implement the project across the entire Pacific & Northeast Asia (PNEA) region, and witness the business utilise this tool to realise improvements and efficiencies relating to costs, service levels, optimisation, and sales opportunities.
