Queen's Place Melbourne

Melbourne’s skyline will be transformed by two 80 storey residential towers at 350 Queen’s Street, Melbourne. The first tower is scheduled for completion in November 2021. The towers will be known as Queen’s Place and are located on Flagstaff Hill, the highest point in central Melbourne, close to the Queen Victoria Market.

Renowned architecture practices Fender Katsilidis and Cox Architecture have come together to deliver a masterplan for the site which includes the two 80 storey residential buildings and five podium levels, a basement supermarket and parking. The site has been designed to make new connections with the Queen Victoria Market precinct, while the podium levels will offer childcare, retail and commercial suites. Fender Katsilidis designed the residential levels in both towers, while Cox Architecture designed the podium levels.

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Australia worked closely with Fender Katsilidis and Cox Architecture in 2019 to specify all the door hardware in the complex, including internal and external doors. The Velocity Small Rose range has been specified throughout, in the matt black and chrome finish.
