Challenge

The Hong Kong Red Cross (HKRC) has been serving in Hong Kong since 1950 by various area office. In 2015/16, the official opening of the headquarters starts a new chapter of the HKRC. Situated in West Kowloon, the 11-storey building is more than an office. Based on the concept of an all-round and comprehensive humanitarian platform, the HKRC headquarters adopted a simplistic and pragmatic style. The building offers diversified services and facilities so providers have to offer a wide product range which serves different security levels to cater this project.

Solution

ASSA ABLOY offers full door hardware in European(EN) package to HKRC for most doors in their property. Not to mention the blood bank, rooms with expensive medical devices and dispensary with huge medicine stock & supplies, and therefore(HKRC) /  the architect also requested for high security solutions. In concern with their requirement, ASSA ABLOY Hong Kong applies ASSA (DP44 series) cylinder, ABLOY and Securitron eletrical locking products to this project in order to protect those valuable assets for the client.
