Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Complex, Vietnam
Nghi Son Refinery is the second planned oil refinery in Vietnam, which designed capacity of 10 million tons of crude oil per year with possibility to increase the capacity to 20 million tons.
Challenge
Nghi Son refinery and petrochemical complex is jointly invested by Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI), Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd., and Mitsui Chemicals, Inc.
PLicensed in 2008, Nghi Son complex has a total investment capital sum of $9 billion.
