Challenge

The ultramodern Nya Karolinska Solna University Hospital is one of Europe’s largest construction projects. Energy efficiency plays an important role in this project, and the hospital is making high demands on the products and materials used in the building. PVC, for example, is a material that must be avoided at all costs. The whole life cycle has been taken into account when selecting products, and all suppliers have to satisfy the requirements to be approved.

Solution

It is important that service is carried out in the right way to maintain the doors’ energy efficient characteristics, thereby ensuring continuous, secure operation of NKS.
