Challenge

Intel India R&D Campus, a certified LEED Platinum Green Building, is one of the most unique IT campus in India, which has more than 3500 employees working in the campus.

SRR3, the 628,000-square-foot, nine-story office building is 48 percent more energy efficient than other like buildings, produces 70 percent less greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and has the potential to save over 12 million gallons (MGY) of potable water annually.

SRR4 will be constructed using ‘One Storey High Technology’, with each floor being built on ground, then lifted and attached to the top of the building, and then built from the roof downwards.

Solution

Through the combined efforts of the Specification and Sales teams, ASSA ABLOY India created a mutually dependent partnership with Intel Corporation. A carefully crafted Hardware Schedule and a thorough system of Master keyed Cylinders was designed, in consultation with the architect and client. This resulted in a smooth and quick supply and installation of the Hardware.
