An Environmental Product Declaration is an assessment of a product's environmental impact, based on a detailed life cycle analysis (LCA) and verified by an accredited third party.
It provides standardized and consistent information that allows for comparing different products by examining various stages of the life cycle. An Environmental Product Declaration is not a guarantee that the product is energy-efficient or sustainable, but the standardized and consistent information enables making an informed decision about which solution to choose.
