Technology Business Center made secure with IKON VERSO CLIQ The "Business Center" of the Technology Center Glehn (TZG) in Neuss aims to facilitate market access to new business founders, young entrepreneurs and international start-ups who with their relocation into the Center, find themselves in a microcosm that also accommodates Economic Development Promotion, ARGE (Federal Employment Office) and a Starter-Center. Over a surface area of 1,500 square meters, the TZG has created 45 offices and 20 tenant companies with 75 employees are now accommodated in the building which dates back to 1907. It's clear therefore that such a Start-up Center must also be completely secure. Firms move in and out, employees change, new companies are created and functions change. This constantly results in new access authorizations that can only be adjusted quickly and cheaply with a highly flexible locking system. At the same time, the tenants in the TZG Business Center must be able to rely on high levels of security. The VERSO CLIQ locking system installed combines security with flexibility. With the IKON system from ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH, highly developed microelectronics with intelligent data decryption are integrated into a highly secure, mechanical locking cylinder system. This ensures that all the doors of the Starter-Center are locked as reliably as with a mechanical locking system, but in addition they are reliably secured by electronic identification. At the same time, VERSO CLIQ offers the greatest flexibility for facility extensions, changes of access authorizations and loss of keys. The intelligent locking system responds to removals, reorganizations and restructuring simply and cost-effectively as the relevant locking cylinders can be programmed individually at any time – without the expensive exchanging of locking cylinders. Authorized access for a lost key can simply be removed by changing the programming of the cylinders. The VERSO CLIQ Locking System is therefore a security service for the Center tenants, which is as integral to the services provided as are the reception and postal facilities and the option to hold a meeting in the general conference and training rooms.
