Cesar Correa

Finance and Administrative Chief for Yale Import Markets

“I get excited sharing my door opening knowledge and then helping people find new solutions.”

Cesar Correa, the finance and administrative chief for Yale Import Markets, loves helping people find new solutions.

Cesar Correa lives and works in Bogota, Colombia, but his job involves much travel throughout Latin America. “This allows me to meet people from different cultures each with unique characters and communication styles,” he says. “Although we all speak Spanish, formality levels differ quite a lot.''

According to Cesar, everyone in the company has a chance to succeed in their position at ASSA ABLOY because of the teamwork they participate in and help foster. It is not a competition against each other but really, a contest to see which coworkers can unite and align their strengths to solve problems and improve processes.

And indeed, Cesar is both an optimist and a problem solver. “When I hear the word innovation, I imagine a perfect mix of experience, leadership and enthusiasm for our future,” he says, adding. “More people should know about door openings. I get excited sharing my door opening knowledge and then helping people find new solutions to their door challenges.''

Cesar has worked for ASSA ABLOY for three years. His hobbies include gardening, cooking for friends and fixing things. And he adds, “My heart is divided between Colombia where I live and Spain where most of my family lives.''
