“My first role with ASSA ABLOY was in 2002, as an RMA technician. I was 21 years old – two weeks out of graduating with a degree in Electronics Engineering. I spent the next 15 years working on our helpdesk, in the field and as a training manager.

 “Today I am the Director of Field Services for North America. My job is to make sure that all field labor resources used for our product implementations in the US and Canada meet the expectations of our customers. 

“From large corporate clients such as Hyatt, Marriott and Hilton to boutique hotels, we make sure that the implementation of our solutions maintains consistent quality through a process and continuous training.

“This includes managing direct and indirect resources such as hardware installers, technicians and technical trainers. The wider goal is to create a culture and environment of teamwork, challenge, passion, and integrity.

“My journey, from an RMA technician repairing magnetic stripe card encoders to being given the responsibility of running all field services in North America, shows how opportunity thrives within our organization.
