Information on Data Privacy - Fairs, Events

My Data will be processed for the above-mentioned purposes in accordance with applicable data protection regulations until I withdraw consent or within the scope of the statutory retention periods, in particular within the scope of claims limitation periods.

I have the right to (a) withdraw my consent, require (b) information, (c) rectification, (d) erasure, (e) restriction of processing and (f) portability of My Data and (g) to object to the processing of My Data (including profiling; as well as other rights with regard to automated decision-making) and (h) lodge a complaint.

I can at any time

(a) withdraw my consent to the processing of My Data with regard to the above-mentioned purposes by email to medien.de@assaabloy.com without giving a reason with effect for the future, without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until withdrawal;

(b) obtain confirmation of whether My Data is being processed and, if so, I have a right to information about My Data. The information includes, among other things, the purposes of the processing, categories of personal data being processed, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data has been or will be disclosed. I may have the right to obtain a copy of My Data which is the subject-matter of the processing;

(c) immediately obtain the rectification of my data in the event of its inaccuracy. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, I may have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement.

(d) obtain the immediate erasure of My Data; the data controller is then obliged to erase My Data immediately, taking into account the existing storage obligations and rights;

(e) obtain restriction of processing; in such a case My Data will be marked and may only be processed for certain purposes;

(f) receive My Data that I have provided to the data controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and I may have the right to transmit that data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data has been provided;

(g) object, on grounds relating to my particular situation, at any time to processing (including profiling) of My Data and the controller may be required to no longer process My Data;

(h) lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State where I reside, work or the place of suspected data privacy breach.

I understand that the above rights are not granted unconditionally and may be limited by applicable law. To exercise my rights, I may contact ASSA ABLOY as stated in paragraph 5.

ASSA ABLOY may pass on my data to third parties who process the data (e.g. service providers who assist with data maintenance, sending documents and newsletters).

If I work in a country or the branch of the company I work for is located in a country where there is no ASSA ABLOY Group company (“Country of Operation"), My Data may be transmitted to ASSA ABLOY employees in the Country of Operation. The Country of Operation may not ensure the same level of data protection as my own. In such a case, ASSA ABLOY will ensure that the recipients in the Country of Operation contractually (e.g. via EU standard contractual clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) and/or otherwise provide suitable or appropriate safeguards for compliance with an appropriate level of data protection (e.g. because it is classified by the EU Commission as a safe third country, under Art. 45 GDPR).

The processing of My Data for the above purposes is not prescribed by law or contract or required for the conclusion of a contract.
