Liv Anura / Quay Waterfront

Set to revolutionise the inner-city rental experience.

It has been ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Australia’s pleasure to work with the design team at MIRVAC Design on two unique developments in one of Brisbane’s waterfront communities at Newstead ( LIV Anura and Quay Waterfront ) and we look forward to partnering on future projects.

LIV Anura is a residential development that has been delivered in partnership with the QLD Government as part of a “Build to Rent” pilot project that is a direct response to the Inner-city housing shortage in Brisbane.

The project consists of 396 apartments across 25 levels that will be exclusively for renters.

It is one of Brisbane’s first large scale residential projects of this nature that is set to revolutionise the inner-city rental experience.

Quay Waterfront is residential development and consists of 143 Luxury Riverside Apartments across 25 levels that have been sold off the plan. Both towers share a common green space and boasts a range of sustainable initiatives to enhance the liveability of the residence both owners and renters.

Each development has unique design with a lively activated ground plane and dynamic façade expression of movement and depth.

"Through months of collaboration in the design stage of the projects, ASSA ABLOY worked on the offering of a hardware / security solution that would suit both components of the project ( “Build to Rent” and “Build to Sell”). Working in two different states was done via TEAMS and shows that a project of this scale can be delivered successfully while working remotely."

A lot of considerations were made in selecting the appropriate door hardware to compliment the very design rich interiors of the common areas within both towers. Mirvac Design are renowned for their high-end architectural designs and forward thinking on how the occupants will use the spaces.

Access control has also been an important element of this project to ensure safety and security while allowing the buildings residents to experience a very modern way of living without restriction within the densely occupied inner city suburb of Newstead.

Upcoming Mirvac Developments in Brisbane also includes the Brisbane Racing precinct at Hamiliton.
