Hospitality facilities such as hotels are open 24 hours and people are always coming and going, demanding high class service. ASSA ABLOY Hospitality sells to, installs in and services these facilities. To ensure that its international sales and service network is fully competent and knowledgeable in all product areas, ensuring service quality and successful sales, the ASSA ABLOY Hospitality Academy provides its employees with training.The Academy is responsible for product-related sales and technical training for the sales and distribution network. “The training has helped me feel confident in my methods and practices on a daily basis and has helped me pass knowledge onto my team members,” says one of the participants. The Hospitality Academy programs are composed of two elements: a general product training on all the lock and safe products and specialized training or certification courses when new products are introduced. In 2009, there were 212 participants enrolled in the Hospitality Academy.
