Styra 3000 – new security platform designed for multi-residential properties /Global/Press-and-News/News/2012/Styra-524px.jpg ASSA ABLOY Group company Aptus Elektronik has launched the Styra 3000, a new platform designed to control the entire security system for multi-residential properties, including everything from entry phones to booking and access control systems, door units, alarms and individual energy meters in apartments. The Styra 3000, which will mainly be sold in Sweden, Denmark and Norway, is designed to be easy to use. By combining centralized inputs and outputs with Aptus’ new Koppla door units (which also feature their own inputs and outputs), the installation can be tailored to match the buildings’ characteristics. In this way, the placement of equipment and selection of cabling can be optimized to be as simple and cost-effective as possible. In addition, the Multiaccess Styra software has been updated with a completely new graphical user interface and many smart new features. “It feels great to offer a new platform,” says Jerker Krabbe, President for Aptus Elektronik AB. “Styra 3000 will simplify the work of our installers, while property owners will receive a cost-effective and reliable product.” The control unit can be set as either master or slave during the installation process, and new features can be added as needed. If new equipment such as entry phones or energy meters is added to the property, the desired functionality can be included in the Styra 3000 system through simple plug-in components. If existing hardware is replaced, it becomes fully functional immediately.
