We value opinions, input and feedback. That’s why our employee survey is such an important tool. Each two years more than 39,000 employees tell us what they think of the company as a basis for concrete action plans to address issues whether they are Group-wide, country specific or local.
Our 2016 results continue a trend of steady improvement, which we see as proof that our plans are workings.
Given our philosophy of freedom to act and learning from our mistakes, it is particularly pleasing that the highest ranking in the latest survey concerned clear understanding of roles and responsibilities and expectations on performance.
Feedback about the level of innovation and customer focus was also more positive, reflecting out focus areas for business growth.

Work is still needed in terms of informing employees of career development opportunities, which we are addressing through steps such as mandatory internal advertising of all vacant positions and a commitment to hire from within where skills are comparable.
