'2007 another record year'

The CEOs of ten of Sweden’s largest industrial companies are interviewed in the Swedish paper Affärsvärlden. The majority of the CEOs share a bright view on 2007, as another record year. Johan Molin, CEO ASSA ABLOY, is one of the participants.

Molin is pleased with the current economic situation and mentions the increase of construction in Europe and USA and the maintained economical growth in Asia. One of ASSA ABLOY's greatest challenges ahead lies in the transition to new technologies, such as electronic locks. The only cause of concern would be if the US market crashed or if the dollar would fall, but these scenarios are considered highly unlikely.
