Yale Security Point makes its entry
ASSA ABLOY'S Yale Security Point store concept has made its debut in South Africa, Germany and in the UK. The stores are being set up in a franchise-like arrangement with partners and form a new way to market and sell Yale products.
Security Point will focus on a high degree of service, including home audits and installation, and serve as an outlet for higher security and niche products, including our electronic and electro-mechanical solutions.
South African store the first to open
The first Yale Security Point store was opened in October in Key West Shopping Centre, in Krugersdorp, west of Johannesburg. The store was formerly a Security World shop, a leading South African franchise chain of specialist security stores acquired by ASSA ABLOY in September 2005. The chain comprises 25 stores that have been re-branded as Yale Security Point.
Germany and UK
Frankfurt was chosen as location for the first German Yale Security Point. The new store opened on 15 October in the city’s financial district. Earlier during the autumn another shop opened in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands. Both shops offer a wide range of home security and safety products.
