Cooperation resulted in new lock
ASSA ABLOY, in cooperation with the American IT-company CoreStreet, has developed a new centralized locking system for a range of security needs – both physical and logical. The new disconnected system will deliver cost savings and is suited for use at locations such as office buildings, college and university campuses, military bases and cargo containers.
The two companies are also pioneering a first-of-its-kind generation of keyless door locks.
CoreStreet’s technology won an Editor’s Choice award from Buildings’ magazine in 2004 for meeting enterprise needs for security “from door to device to desktop.”
