Johan Molin joins the ASSA ABLOY Group as President and CEO from 1 December 2005

Since 2001, Johan Molin has been President and CEO of Nilfisk-Advance in Denmark, a leading global manufacturer of professional cleaning equipment with a turnover of SEK 6,400 M and 3,800 employees. In his time at the company Johan Molin has driven the transformation of Nilfisk-Advance to its present position as the leader of the professional cleaning industry.

After graduating from the Stockholm School of Economics in 1983, Johan held various positions in the Atlas Copco Group up to 2001. Most recently he was President of the Industrial Air Division in Benelux with a turnover of SEK 5,000 M and 2,700 employees.

Between 1990 and 1993, Johan lived abroad holding the position of general manager of the Atlas Copco subsidiary Compressor Mauguire, a French local-brand company. After a successful change process at the French company, Johan was appointed marketing manager of the Industrial Air division in Belgium in 1993.

Johan Molin was born in 1959 and is married to Catherine. They have two daughters, Emelie 14 and Ellinor 17 years old. The family lives in southern Sweden.
